Sewing Machine Operator

*Operate sewing machines to join, reinforce, or decorate fabric materials *Read and follow patterns, blueprints, or design specifications *Measure, cut, and prepare fabric pieces before sewing *Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy *Perform routine machine maintenance (e.g., cleaning, oiling, minor repairs) *Adjust machine settings (stitch length, tension, speed) as needed *Repair or alter damaged garments or textile products *Maintain a clean and organized work area *Meet production targets and deadlines
